The Pratt Painting Club is a student-led organization involving both undergraduate and graduate students that creates a forum for everything painting and beyond its borders. The Painting Club brings students together by hosting a wide variety of events such as artist lectures, student shows, critiques, and field trips in support of the fine arts

Workshops and Demos
The Zoo
Artist Cafe
We organize workshops where members can learn basic skills involving painting, covering everything from canvas stretching and preparation, to methods of archiving it.
Visiting Artists
Come check out the Zoo, out Bi Weekly art critique where students from all areas of the school come to present their work. It's held from 11AM-1PM in room 503 in the Main Building every other saturday
Gallery and Museum Visits
On alternate Saturdays to The Zoo, we host bi-weekly discussion and debates, covering the art world, inspiration and influences, as well as collaborating on group projects. Every other Saturday from 11AM-1PM in room 503 in the Main Building
Studio Tours
We host visiting artists for roundtable discussions talking about painting as a profession, what gets them inspired, and how to thrive after college
We organize various visits of galleries and museums pertaining to specific themes, styles, or techniques
Artists show off their work space and answer questions about their process, inspiration, and work environment
